NEW YORK — Shares of some top finance companies were up at the close of trading: Bank of America rose $.18 or 1.2 percent, to $15.37. Citigroup rose $.04 or 1.3 percent, to $3.24. JPMorgan Chase rose $.15 or .4 percent, to $39.48.
